Choosing Low Cost Airlines
In recent years there has been an increase of low budget airlines worldwide, many people don't like to flight with low budget airlines because of bad experiences in service, increase of costs or how complex they can be at sometimes, but I will try to help you choose wisely your next airline for future cheap flights.
First of all, every low cost airline considers extra costs such as having a check-in bag, choose a sit, having a meal for the flight, having entertainment available (movies or games), etc.
Each airline differs from what they include in their fare and what they don't, so always read well what you flight fair includes and also my recommendation is that if you wish to get any of the extra services in your fair, like the ones I mentioned, order them in advantage, usually they have a better price for you. On a personal perspective I've been traveling without using any of the extra cost services and its amazing the deals you can get with some airlines, as mentioned before you only need to learn how to travel just with the necessary clothes and things in a carry-on bag, maybe carry your own tablet and that's it.
Now once you agree to the rules of how the low airlines work so you don't get bad surprises, how you decide which low cost airline use?
Usually you end up choosing a low budget airline while using a comparison website such as kiwi.com my tip or recommendation is once you see a good deal in a comparison website, you can check the airline in the following site: www.airlineratings.com/airlines-ratings.php, this website allows you to see how safe and how good is the service of any airline in the world. Their security rank is really good: www.airlineratings.com/safety_rating_per_airline.php they give 7 stars in total to each airline based on their certifications they have worldwide and for terrorism, and also considers the history of the airline with any issue or crash (statistics are involved) so you don't get worried about safety. Also service stars are really aligned with customer experiences, and the awards they give I do really agree after using several of the airlines mentioned: www.airlineratings.com/awards.php.
For me the best low cost airline in 2016 is Norwegian Airlines, they have incredible fares worldwide with really new aircrafts and also include many things that other low cost airlines do not include. The rest where really similar for me, and only one special mention to Virgin Airlines for the cool experience of not the usual process and feeling while traveling.
I hope this makes you easier to decide your next low cost airline, and will keep giving some good recommendations once you are going to flight.
